HYBRIS

Actis HYBRIS insulation is a unique and innovative form of building insulation. Its reflective honeycomb structure ensures effective thermal and acoustic insulation. Its material is a mixture of polyethylene foams and aluminium coated polyethylene foil, with low emissivity cavities and external films that add additional thermal resistance. This product is also resistant to slumping. Its unique combination of materials makes it a versatile option for many applications.

Actis Hybris insulation is proven to have a lower lifecycle primary energy consumption than rigid board insulation. The cornerstone of the Actis Hybris range, Actis Hybris is also rated highly efficient, thanks to its insulating breather membranes and a vapour control layer. The product is also independently verified by the renowned institute INIES, which hosts a database of energy, water, and environmental performance data. In addition to ensuring the highest quality of data, INIES also participates in the ECO platform, which aims to make verified EPDs freely available at European level.

As with any other product, Hybris must be installed properly to maintain its function. In addition to its fire resistance, HYBRIS must be properly installed. The installation of Hybris is particularly important, as the underlay must allow for a gap between the insulation and the building structure. This helps save space by maintaining a minimum thickness. Hybris actis insulation has the added benefit of being able to staple to timbers and adjacent panels.

TRIPLEX

TRIPLEX actis insulation offers both thermal and acoustic performance. It is CE marked, LABC registered, and NHBC warranty approved. Available in different thicknesses, Actis Hybris offers excellent value and performance, while providing exceptional acoustic performance. Moreover, its low emissivity and sound absorption characteristics provide a comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient living environment.

ACTIS TRIPLEX insulation utilises patented honeycomb technology and is suitable for pitched roofs, ceilings, and timber-frame walls. This insulation product offers excellent thermal resistance, owing to its sandwich construction. Its unique design eliminates air and moisture vapor, making it ideal for reducing energy bills and maintaining health and comfort. Further, it resists moulds and reduces condensation. The benefits of this product are many.

Actis’ HControl Hybrid insulation is available in rolls of 10 m2 and 1600 mm. It is available in various thicknesses and can be applied over most existing materials. Actis manufactures all components in-house and is one of the world’s leading thin multi-foil insulation manufacturers. Actis aims to ensure that each product achieves complete airtightness. If you have a project where heat transfer is a major concern, TRIPLEX actis insulation can help prevent this problem.

ACTIS insulation is highly effective at reflecting infrared radiation back towards the source of heat. As a result, it helps to regulate heating and cooling systems, both during winter and summer. Actis insulation contains internal reflective foils that act as additional barriers against thermal transfer by radiation. Hot air rises, escaping upwards due to its difference in temperature. ACTIS insulation helps to reduce thermal losses and reduces cold and warm air infiltration.

ACTIS HControl Hybrid

Actis H Control Hybrid is a multi-foil insulation system that offers dual performance. This insulating material has an overall thickness of only 1.6mm, and is available in rolls of up to 10 m2. It can be used in conjunction with other types of insulation, reducing installation steps and total thickness while still maintaining the same ‘U’ value. Unlike other insulation products, Actis H Control Hybrid does not cause thermal bridging and can be used over existing materials.

Unlike many other products on the market, Actis HControl Hybrid is tested to meet NHBC and LABSS standards. This means that a home with Actis HControl Hybrid insulation will have a ‘R’ Value of 3.20 m2/K/W, and LABC and LABSS registered details will meet building regulations. As a result, Actis products are approved by building control surveyors in all local authorities.

Actis HControl Hybrid is a multi-layered foam insulation system that offers dual-action vapour control and thermal performance. It can be used for pitched roofs, masonry walls, ceilings, and floors, as well as suspended timber floors. This insulating system has achieved LABC and LABSS Registered Details, and is CE marked. Besides this, Actis HControl Hybrid offers a high-performance product for virtually all types of building insulation, including foam.

ACTIS HYBRIS

Actis Hybris insulation is the latest technology in the insulation industry and is suitable for pitched roofs, timber frame walls, ceilings, and more. Its innovative design means it is durable and lightweight, yet retains its heat-insulating properties. It also has a low core thermal conductivity, making it a highly versatile choice for insulation. Actis Hybris has been tested and certified by the BM TRADA Building Insulation Products Q-Mark Scheme, and can be incorporated into U Value calculations in accordance with EN 6946.

Actis Hybris has been shortlisted for the prestigious Product Innovation Award, which will be presented to more than 500 construction industry professionals in June. The award is one of 17 accolades for timber frame construction. Actis is up against a host of other finalists including social housing providers, architects, engineers, and low-energy developments. Actis Hybris is one of four products in the Hybrid range, which combines the advantages of both pitched roofs and ceilings.

Actis Hybris insulation has an innovative honeycomb-like structure, allowing it to reduce heat loss through condensation and conduction. Its low-emissivity exterior films add additional heat resistance. Actis Hybris insulation can be installed in timber frames, pitched roofs, and masonry walls. Its unique structure makes it a perfect choice for reducing energy bills, while maintaining comfort and health. You can choose from several different thicknesses of Actis Hybris, depending on your needs.

Actis Hybris insulation also has a lower lifecycle primary energy consumption than traditional rigid board insulation. Its insulating vapour control layer and insulating breather membranes have been independently verified by INIES. The organisation also hosts an easy-to-use database of environmental data. The Institute of Environmental Sciences is part of the ECO platform, which aims to make verified EPDs publicly available on a European level.

TRIPLEX TRIPLEX

ACTIS is a range of thermal and acoustic insulation products. The Actis Hybris is a product that combines the best of both worlds. This type of insulation is CE marked, LABC registered and NHBC warranty approved. Actis insulation comes in a range of thicknesses, corresponding R values and price. It can be installed as a single glazed wall, or as a multi-layered construction.

The ACTIS range uses a special patented technology called ‘Triplex’. This insulation technology encloses air between films with low emissivity. In addition, its torsaded or spiraled shape means more air can be captured within each cell. It is a perfect solution for cold climates, such as homes and offices. TRIPLEX actis insulation is made from high-quality polyurethane.

Honeycomb multi-foil insulation provides excellent thermal performance. Unlike traditional rigid insulation, this product is non-combustible, resulting in a sandwich construction. It resists condensation and conduction, reducing heat loss while maintaining comfort and health. Actis honeycomb insulation comes in several thicknesses, ensuring the perfect solution for your home. If you are concerned about the health benefits of cellulose insulation, actis honeycomb insulation is a great choice.

The Actis Hybrid range is a multi-layered foam-insulation system that provides dual action vapour control and thermal performance. It can be installed on masonry walls, suspended timber floors and pitched roofs, with impressive thermal performance. The Actis Hybrid range is NHBC-approved, easy to install and fast-drying. It also offers many benefits and is a good choice for both new and old buildings.
