Kingspan Insulation 70mm Available in Different Thicknesses

Kingspan insulation 70mm is an easy and cost-effective thermal insulation option to lower energy costs and is available in different thicknesses to meet any of your insulation requirements.

K107 roof boards are engineered for installation on pitched roofs as an underlay beneath tile or slate coverings, featuring low lambda values that help minimize heat loss.

Kooltherm K103 Floorboard

Kooltherm K103 Floorboard is a cutting-edge floor insulation solution, ideal for solid concrete and suspended timber floors. Boasting an exceptional thermal conductivity rating of just 0.19 W/mK and helping reduce heating costs, its face features glass tissue-based facing that autohesively bonds itself onto its insulation core during production.

Insulating floor constructions prior to installing a concrete screed requires this material. It also works well when combined with underfloor heating. Manufactured in Castleblayney and boasting compressive strength of 120kPa at 10% compression, it was manufactured locally.

Phenolic insulation is produced under certified management systems and uses a blowing agent with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Phenolic insulation has water-resistance, can resist mould growth, rot and fungus and is very durable yet easy to install – ideal for numerous applications as it comes in different thicknesses.

Kooltherm K107 Pitched Roof Board

Kingspan Kooltherm K107 Pitched Roof Board is a premium performance fiber free rigid thermoset phenolic insulant designed to insulate pitched warm roof spaces beneath tiles or slates, replacing Kingspan K7 insulation while offering lower lambda values and better thermal conductivity ratings than standardised PIR boards.

Insulation core is free from CFC/HCFC gases and features reflective surfaces on both sides to increase thermal resistance in any uninsulated cavities nearby. These reflective surfaces can help improve thermal performance.

These pitch roof insulation boards can easily be cut with a utility knife and installed between rafters by simply pushing them between. By keeping heat inside, these pitch roof insulation boards help prevent heat escaping into the loft space and help lower energy bills while saving on heating bills.

Kooltherm K118 External Wall Board

Kooltherm K118 insulated plasterboard is an advanced product for mechanically fixed and adhesive bonded dry-lining applications. Combining insulation and dry-lining into one board ensures maximum lettable space while increasing property values over time.

Its fibre-free rigid thermoset phenolic core is produced using an eco-friendly blowing agent with zero ODP and low GWP emissions, and features an autohesively bonded low emissivity composite foil on its reverse side to increase thermal resistance during production.

These boards are ideal for sheathing applications in frame constructions with ground and suspended timber floors, including frame constructions with insulation upstands that don’t protrude too far below floor insulation levels; this helps minimise linear thermal bridging. However, it is crucial that gaps between floor insulation and the bottom of sheathing upstand (or perimeter insulation upstand) don’t become too wide in order to reduce linear thermal bridging.

These boards can withstand short-term contact with petrol and many dilute acids, alkalis and mineral oils; they’re also compatible with most adhesive systems but should not be used together with glues containing methyl ethyl ketone.

ThermaFloor TF70 PIR

TF70 Kingspan Thermafloor floor insulation board helps prevent heat loss while simultaneously decreasing energy usage and saving homeowners on heating costs. Approved by BBA, its high compressive strength, moisture resistance, and fire performance make this product ideal for homeowners to use on their heating bills.

This rigid thermoset polyisocyanurate PIR core features low-emissivity foil facing on both sides, making it suitable for use under screed, on block and beam floors or concrete slab floors.

Material can easily be cut to size with no special cutter required; use sharp knife or saw. However, take special care in trimming for tight-butted joints and reduced thermal bridging.

When installing Thermafloor, care should be taken to protect it from rain and wind during installation and then store indoors until required for use, as its closed cell structure makes it susceptible to rapid degradation if exposed to rain. Furthermore, Thermafloor is non-combustible and free of asbestos or heavy metals – ideal conditions for its use!
