Isover Pipe Insulation

Isover pipe insulation is designed for use in pipework that is subjected to temperatures ranging from 230degC to 500degC. The aluminium foil facing of the insulation should not be subjected to temperatures exceeding 80degC. Typical applications for Isover pipe insulation include heating systems, air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

Climpipe

ISOVER CLIMPIPE Section Alu2 Pipe Insulation offers outstanding thermal and acoustic insulation in an easy-to-install form. The sections feature reinforced aluminium foil facings and self-adhesive overlap. It is available in 1.2 m lengths and is suitable for a variety of pipe sizes.

ISOVER CLIMPIPE is an innovative and lightweight pipe insulation, with a high mechanical strength and good thermal and acoustic insulation. It is also eco-friendly, with 70 percent recycled glass in its construction. It is ideal for all types of pipework, including wastewater and soil pipe services.

Snap on

Snap on Isover pipe insulation is a pre-formed insulation product that offers both acoustic and thermal insulation. Its reinforced aluminium foil facing and self-adhesive overlap help to reduce the noise and vibration generated by pipes. Available in different thicknesses, this pipe insulation is suitable for a range of pipe sizes and has a high energy-saving potential.

Isover pipe insulation is manufactured with up to 80% recycled content. It has a BRE Global Green Guide A+ rating and is non-combustible, with a rating of A1. The material is chemically neutral and slightly alkaline, and won’t accelerate corrosion of metals. It is available in standard bore inner diameters and wall thicknesses.

Snap on pipe insulation is suitable for hot or cold service piping systems. It is reusable and features one longitudinal seam for quick installation. It can be easily placed over a pipe and snaps closed after it has been installed. The insulation is manufactured to meet strict quality standards and is acceptable for a variety of pipe bore sizes. It significantly reduces heat gains and losses.

Foil faced

Isover pipe insulation is designed to offer thermal and acoustic insulation for steel and copper pipework. Its strong snap-on sections are made of 80% recycled material and incorporate a self-adhesive overlap. The aluminium foil covering provides consistent thermal and acoustic performance throughout the section. It also meets the latest fire and safety regulations and has a Euroclass A2 fire rating.

Isover pipe insulation is suitable for use on pipework subject to continuous service temperatures ranging from 230degC to 500degC. The aluminium foil facing must not exceed 80degC. For this reason, Isover pipe insulation is ideal for a wide range of applications, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications.

Isover HVAC pipe and ductwork insulation solutions are lightweight, flexible and easy to handle. The aluminium foil facing provides a vapour barrier, which prevents the vaporisation of gasses. Isover CR Alu2 and CLIMCOVER Roll Alu2 are both excellent options for high-volume ductwork insulation, with high mechanical performance.

Alu2

Alu2 isover pipe insulation is a solution that provides both thermal and fire resistance to pipes. Its construction features pre-formed snap-on sections that overlap and have reinforced aluminium foil coverings. The panels are manufactured in 1.2m lengths, allowing fewer joints than traditional 1m products, reducing thermal bridging. It also offers energy savings thanks to its uniform density and concentric positioning of bore holes.

Class O

Isover pipe insulation is a versatile insulator for piping systems that is both acoustic and thermal. Its lightweight, reinforced aluminium foil facing and self-adhesive overlap help to create a more comfortable and quiet space. Isover pipe insulation is available in various thicknesses to suit different pipe sizes and configurations.

Isover pipe insulation is suitable for copper and steel pipework. Its snap-on sections are manufactured from up to 80% recycled material and feature a factory-applied reinforced aluminium foil facing. This ensures consistent thermal performance along the length of the section. BS EN 13501-1 classification makes it compliant with the European standard Euroclass A2 fire rating.

Isover glass mineral wool insulation meets BS EN 13172:2012. Its fibres are composed of up to 86% recycled glass which would otherwise be sent to landfill. As a result, Isover is one of the greenest insulation products on the market. Isover also has ISO 14001:2004 certification.

Flexible elastomeric

Flexible elastomeric isover pipe isolating tapes are an excellent choice for reducing the thermal conductivity of pipes. The low-volatile organic compound (VOC) content and microbial resistance of these tapes make them a smart choice for pipe insulation. Flexible elastomeric pipe insulation also passes the ASTM E84 Flame Spread Index, so it’s an environmentally friendly option.

Eurobatex pipe insulation is a premium elastomeric product manufactured by Union Foam SpA. It comes in two-metre-long rolls, with options of pre-slit or unslit tubes. Eurobatex is the first elastomeric pipe insulation product to declare test results to Euroclass fire rating standards.

Flexible elastomeric foam pipe insulation is a great choice for domestic cold/hot water systems. Its closed-cell structure provides good thermal insulation and a built-in vapor retarder. It’s easy to install, and its low thermal k-value makes it an excellent choice for refrigeration and chilled water systems.

A single-source solution with a proven track record of long-term performance. Aerocel (r) brand EPDM closed-cell flexible elastomeric foam pipe insulation has low thermal conductivity and is UV resistant. Its built-in vapor retarder helps control vapor drive and reduces the risk of vapor leakage.

Phenolic foam

Phenolic foam pipe insulation is a rigid closed-cell insulation with excellent thermal insulation properties. It offers a low thermal conductivity and a low water vapour permeance. It can be used in industrial applications such as pipe insulation and tank coverings. It is CFC-free and is also available in a variety of sizes and shapes.

Phenolic foam is a good choice for applications that require low fire ratings and require high insulation values. It is highly resistant to water vapour and should meet Euroclass B-s1-d0 fire safety standards. Because of its cellular structure, it is very lightweight. However, this material can produce dust. Therefore, it is recommended to use a knife blade when cutting phenolic foam. Avoid using a saw with a toothed blade.

Another important factor to consider is its fire performance. Compared to other types of insulation, phenolic foam is much better in terms of thermal performance. Its flame spread is low or even non-existent and the amount of smoke and toxic gas emissions is low. The material also doesn’t melt when in contact with a fire source. Because of this, it is an ideal choice for a variety of construction insulation applications. However, phenolic foam should only be used in specific situations.
