Kingspan Insulation – 5 Types of 50mm Kingspan Insulation

50mm Kingspan insulation boasts amazing thermal properties and is an effective way to reduce energy costs. Furthermore, its fire resistance and soundproofing properties make it a valuable solution.

Kingspan Kooltherm K103 external wall board insulation offers premium performance lower lambda ratings with its thermoset fiber-free phenolic core and low emissivity composite foil facings on both sides.

Thermawall TW55

Thermawall TW55 insulation board offers exceptional thermal efficiency for walls. Suitable for cavities, timber frame walls and steel stud wall applications.

TW55 boards feature a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) core sandwiched between two layers of foil for improved fire performance and reduced water vapour transmission.

At 0.022 W/mK thermal conductivity, polystyrene insulation material provides effective energy efficiency improvements for buildings. Furthermore, its durability and longevity ensure it can continue to provide insulation throughout its useful lifetime in any structure.

The Thermawall TW55 is certified to ISO 9001 and contains an environmental friendly blowing agent with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Furthermore, production takes place under an audited management system that proves its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Kooltherm K103

Kooltherm K103 insulation board offers unsurpassed thermal conductivity among rigid thermoset insulation materials. With its fiber-free rigid thermoset phenolic core, this board boasts unparalleled thermal conductivity levels in this arena.

This board is also water vapour resistant, helping reduce energy costs and enhance air quality while at the same time offering insulation benefits on beam and block floors, concrete surfaces and timber surfaces.

Kingspan Kooltherm K103 insulation comes in standard thicknesses of 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm and 75mm and can easily fit between floor joists for effortless suspended timber floor insulation.

Material used to manufacture these screens is non-deleterious, lightweight and long-term durable, providing long term coverage when installed correctly. They come equipped with blowing agents with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Greenguard GG300

Greenguard GG300 rigid insulation board is a high performance rigid board constructed using a blowing agent with zero Ozone Depletion Potential and low Global Warming Potential. It boasts low thermal conductivity – as little as 0.03 W/mK! Designed specifically to withstand exterior applications such as inverted roofs, basements, car park decks and heavy-duty commercial, industrial and cold store flooring applications.

GreenGuard GG300 boards are constructed from non-organic XPS material that offers high compression strength and an airtight structure to resist groundwater absorption as well as water vapour transmission. Available in four thicknesses, you’re sure to find one suitable for your project!

Kingspan GG300 insulation is easy to install and safe due to being non-fibrous, yet precise cutting of its board is still crucial for creating close-butting joints and continuity of insulation coverage. A fine toothed saw is recommended, or using scoring and snapping along a straight edge before cutting away its facing on either side of the board to cut accurately.

TR27

TR27 PIR insulation board boasts exceptional durability and long lifespan depending on its supporting structure. This board can be utilized on metal, concrete and plywood decks as well as existing flat roofs and composite panel roofing.

This urethane thermoset polyisocyanurate (PIR) rigid insulation core features two coated glass tissue coatings that have been autohesively adhered to its fibre free core during manufacture, providing a durable product designed for flat roof waterproofing with single-ply membranes, partially adhered built-up felt, asphalt roof membranes or cold liquid applied systems – ideal for most green roof applications as well.

Kingspan produces high-performance roof insulation products designed for specific projects, boasting thermal conductivity of 0.24 W/m*K for boards thicknesses from 120mm up.
